Truly raw and fresh peanuts are green and need to be cooked or roasted immediately. This recipe is for "raw" peanuts that are actually blanched. They can usually found in bulk and taste great when you roast them. The flavor is better than what you get from most pre-roasted store bought peanuts.
- Preheat oven to 350
- Place unshelled raw (blanched) peanuts flat on baking sheet
- Bake for 15 mins, stir.
- Bake 5 mins, stir. Repeat if not done
- Dust lightly with popcorn salt (very fine)
- Let cool completely before storing
