Food safe treatment

My first real treatment for wood is for kitchen items: a large cutting board, a pizza peel and a wooden spoon.

I used a 50/50 mix of food-safe citrus solvent and real 100% tung oil. I've applied a coating of the mixture on all sides. Wiped off excess, then wiped again after an hour. I will wait for this to cure for three days, then lightly sand with a fine grit and re-apply at least one more time if not two.
